AARHUS, Denmark & BELLEVUE, Wash. – Sept. 7, 2021 – TimeXtender has been named the winner of both a Gold-Level and Bronze-Level Stevie® Award in two various Covid Response categories in the sixth annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.

The company was named the Gold winner for its Covid Response – Most Innovative Workplace Redesign, as it designed and rolled out a completely new organizational structure based on the belief of “One Global Team – Work from Anywhere.” It was also recognized with a Bronze for Covid Response – Most Valuable HR Team.

The Stevie Awards for Great Employers recognize the world’s best employers and the human resources professionals, teams, achievements and HR-related products and suppliers who help to create and drive great places to work.

Winners of the awards, named the Stevies from the Greek word meaning “crowned,” will be recognized during a virtual awards ceremony on November 17.  Registration for the ceremony is now open.

More than 950 nominations from organizations of all sizes in 29 nations were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of HR-related categories, including Achievement in Workplace Safety & Compliance, Employer of the Year, Chief Human Resources Officer of the Year, Human Resources Team of the Year, Employee Relations Solution Provider of the Year among others.  Especially popular were the COVID-19 Response categories.

“One of the ways TimeXtender distinguishes itself as an industry leader is with its overall commitment to innovation,” said Heine Krog Iversen, founder and CEO, TimeXtender. “Yes, our modern data-estate technology is a world-class solution offering for companies looking to build and deploy a modern data estate and our partner program is advanced, comprised of close to 200 companies that span the globe to serve TimeXtender’s more-than 3,300 customers.

“But we don’t stop at product and partner innovation. TimeXtender also works relentlessly to develop a work culture that is considered ‘ahead of its time’ and forward-looking.  At TimeXtender, innovation is at the heart of what we do throughout our organization.

“This is readily apparent with the ‘One Global Team – Work from Anywhere’ initiative we designed and rolled out in response to Covid. We’re very proud to be recognized for these efforts that helped our company maintain its sustainability during the challenging times set in place by the pandemic,” concluded Krog Iversen.

The judges of the awards shared their feedback in the HR efforts put forth by TimeXtender. Here are various quotes from some of the different program judges:

  • “TimeXtender completely changed its business model to enable employees to work remotely from anywhere in the world. It provided reimbursements for employees to build their home office and for external office memberships. It changed how progress is measured, now monitoring by production rather than office hours. To support this work-from-anywhere initiative, weekly online breakfasts are offered for Xpeople to interact and socialize with colleagues around the world. Weekly online sessions are offered to recharge and offer mind and body exercises that focus on a life theme, health and well-being.”
  • “Work from anywhere philosophy, recharge sessions, OPC’s – great concept. Enjoyed the Xpeople term referenced throughout, inspires thoughts of ordinary people doing extraordinary things in their day to day.”
  • “The blogs are an interesting and dynamic way of keeping employees engaged. The independent employee survey results are impressive.”
  • “Solidly structured presentation of efforts which span ways of working, mental health and investments in company culture. The latter stands out through its self-actualizing set up.”
  • “Culture was the theme of all their work and bringing staff together and connecting. The use of blogs was a great way to demonstrate the ‘Stories’ of what was really going on. Really appreciated the word used best to describe the workplace ‘Collaborative.’”
  • “TimeXtender’s HR Team have done an excellent job of keeping employees engaged, motivated and safe during the pandemic. The blogs are very informative and inspiring and the independent staff survey shows how much employees appreciate the efforts of HR.”
  • “The HR team’s introduction of work from anywhere is setting TimeXtender up well for the new normal. They have taken advantage of this period to create and test new systems and new ways of working to attract the next generation of EE’s.”
  • “Excellent organizing for the internal employee communications regarding inform/communicate to the Xpeople about company direction, alignment, and commitment, especially during the pandemic. Particularly liked: • Frequent Internal Surveys. • Engagement Activities: weekly online breakfasts to interact and socialize with colleagues around the world. • Focusing on Outcomes – rather than Timesheets: by changing how progress is measured, monitoring by production rather than office hours. (Time is precious) • Flexibility: is an invaluable tool and essential to promoting happiness and balance as well as boosting productivity. • Work from Anywhere: which is an integral part of the company’s culture. Good Job.”

More than 70 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.

“In the sixth edition of the Stevie Awards for Great Employers, the judges were impressed by all of the nominees, who – during the crises we’ve confronted this year and last – continue to dedicate each day to making the lives of their employees and teams better through training, software, work-from-home plans, and more. We look forward to celebrating the Stevie winners’ achievements during our November 17 virtual awards ceremony,” said Maggie Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards.
