By using TimeXtender, together with the data experts at ACP CUBIDO, Neuroth, the leading hearing aid specialist, was able to implement the launch of a new cloud data platform based on Microsoft Azure Synapse, within a short time and with considerable cost savings. In recent years, the hearing aid specialist, Neuroth, has developed enormously in many areas of the company. Due to organisational and strategic restructuring, there were requirements for new tools, systems, and IT. The next big step was thus the launch of a new cloud data platform, running on Microsoft Azure Synapse.
The TimeXtender tool was used to simplify and automate the loading and pipeline management of the Microsoft Synapse Analytics platform. TimeXtender is a data integration tool that automates, orchestrates, and documents the stock of data. It was developed to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of data structures, as well as to support the implementation and operation of data lakes, data warehouses and data marts. Since the entire code and documentation are generated automatically, the project was implemented very quickly, with costs that were around 70% lower.
The data teams at Neuroth are relieved of manual, repetitive tasks and – due to the appealing low-code user interface and the automation logic – can independently build, maintain, and gain faster access to reliable data without programming effort. As part of the project, a comprehensive transfer of expertise took place, which allowed the Neuroth data team to further develop their data landscape independently upon completion of the project. ACP CUBIDO is only contacted as a support partner for special requests.
By using TimeXtender, Neuroth was able to save internal resources and implement the project quickly. Michael Suppan summarises the collaboration as follows:
